Winter Film School
01-09-2009. We are currently taking applications for our Winter Film School beginning Monday, Jan. 26. The foundation is seeking motivated 6th – 8th grade students with a strong interest in video production to fill eighteen program slots (18). Summer Film School
09-03-2008. The Binning Family Foundation in association with Bemis Public Library proudly presents the World Premiere of the 2008 Film School Movies! Approximately fifty young filmmakers spent eight weeks creating six masterful short films based on the theme, "The World is in Peril!"

New Film School Staff
05-30-2008. Congratulations to Cassie Duray-Bito, John Schmidt, Alex Pearl, Courtney Knittle, Holly Alldridge, and Greg Norris for being selected as the 2008 Summer Film School staff! These talented teenagers will assist over forty youth make six movies this summer. Stay tuned for more exciting details!
Tech Team Getting It Done!
02-22-2008. Congratulations to the following Tech Team members for passing at least one part of the Internet and Computing Core Certification (IC3) exam during training sessions held on February 18-19: Jeanette Ouk, Zeenat Schultz, Ali Schultz, Qua Nguyen, Michael Diep, Danielle Byrd, and Gina Flamenco.

Film School
10-04-2007. Congratulations to all our Film School participants! This summer, our youth filmmakers created five excellent films based on the theme "Get a Clue!"
The Foundation staff would like to thank our partner, Bemis Public Library, for another wonderful summer of programming.
We would also like to thank the participants for their amazing projects and unbelievable work ethic.

Summer Staff
06-04-2007. The Foundation would like to extend a warm welcome to our outstanding summer interns, Mary Darwin and Nate Zeiger!
Mary joins us from Saint Cloud State University in beautiful St. Cloud, Minnesota. Mary is in the final weeks of her second year of graduate studies.
Nate has just completed his first year of undergraduate studies at Western State College in Gunnison, Colorado.
Nate and Mary will be vital to the success of our Summer Leadership Program! We are so happy that they are part of our team! More info...
Buntport Theater Rocks!
03-02-2007. A special thank you goes out to the incredibly talented Hannah Duggan and Brian Colonna of the Buntport Theater Company for working with the Pathways video class. Brian and Hannah spent the afternoon with the class teaching the finer points of acting, improv and script writing. Talk about a fun learning environment!
Buntport is an amazing group of artists, and we highly recommend that you see their shows if you are a fan of laughing, laughing with others and general happiness. More info...

Veterans Day Video Project
11-15-2006. Congratulations to Cory & Elias Spangler, David Shuck, Laine Greaves-Smith, Ashley & Greg Norris and Rachael Drozda, our fabulous team of youth filmmakers on their production of Veterans Day: Through the Eyes of Littleton Vets.
With the guidance our video instructor, Gayle Kakac and Lance Lewis, volunteer sound engineer, our youth participants created and produced a powerful video that pays tribute to all veterans through stories of sacrifice and courage -- important stories that need to be heard.
We are grateful to Littleton Public Schools and the city of Littleton for interest in this project. The video is being streamed on the city's website for the next few weeks. More info...
Shoot Out Boulder 24 Hour Filmmaking Festival
10-24-2006. Congratulations to the Shoot Out youth film team for their gripping short film "Karma's Revenge."

Creature Features Coming to a Computer Near You!
